What is a Healing Sanctuary? |
Healing Sanctuary functions as a healer pavilion for health oriented clientele to have mini-treatments from a variety of holistic wellness modalities in a short period of time, and as a virtual healer pavilion via the Healing Sanctuary on-line Practitioner Directory. Healing Sanctuary was formed by a group of enthusiastic holistic wellness practitioners as a service to bring together gifted holistic wellness practitioners, within impeccable soul-based wellness facilities to serve soul-minded wellness oriented clientele in search of healing, wholeness and answers to the immortal questions, whom might not otherwise make a connection. |
For each event a host of distinct holistic wellness practitioners are selected from a roster of applicant practitioners. Each practitioner donates $25 to the Healing Sanctuary to support advertising, promotion and healthy snack food costs and for the opportunity to participate. Each participating practitioner will have the use of a private / semi-private treatment room for two of the four-hour event duration. Practitioners can provide up to five twenty-minute treatments during their reserved two one-hour sessions, accepting a modest honorarium (suggested $10 per 20 minute treatment) for service from each client served, and also have the chance to network with other healers & wellness clients while socializing in the Healing Sanctuary Lounge conveniently located within the Host Facility. Practitioners are required to provide one complimentary treatment to the contest winner of the event. A limited number of 24 clients can attend each event, pre-booking for up to six-treatments via internet / telephone / mail. Healing Sanctuary will book last minute treatments at the Reception Table in the Healing Sanctuary Lounge on the day of the event. Practitioners will be responsible for their own treatment accessories. |

The practitioner gains the benefit of exposure in an event professionally organized, advertised (i.e. Vitality Magazine, website presence, local postering, e-mail network, etc.), in a fully equipped wellness facility, receives direct payment from patients, can book additional private treatments with interested clients, and also can be featured with a bio and photo in the Healing Sanctuary On-Line Wellness Practitioner Directory for an additional $25 annual donation. |

How are the Wellness Practitioners selected? |
Healing Sanctuary makes the final selection of wellness practitioners to be featured at a Healing Sanctuary event after careful review of all Applications received from the interested wellness practitioners, taking into account a number of factors including: 1 Selecting the widest diversity of wellness modalities to cover the wellness spectrum. |
| Please Note: The line-up of featured Practitioners will change for every event. Your chances of being selected to be featured at an event is inevitable so please be patient. Also, those practitioners who are Healing Sanctuary Members, who have a listing in the Healing Sanctuary Practitioner Directory or who volunteer at an Sanctuary event will increase their chances of being selected to be featured. Please do not send the participation fee with your Application. |
