Raja Yoga
The Royal Path & King/Queen of the Yoga Systems

Yoga is an ancient wellness science estimated to be well over 7,000 years old that is practiced daily to maintain optimum health and purvey self-realization. Raja-Yoga is the “Royal Path” because it includes the full breadth of the Yoga system in a clearly defined process which can help the aspirant to navigate through the maze of material distractions towards vibrant health, mental clarity, inner-peace and self-realization.

Interest in Yoga has steadily gained momentum across the continent over the past century to the point where it has now become a mainstream activity, yet Yoga remains largely misunderstood as merely a set of physical “exercises” to help the youthful enhance body consciousness, though unlike most “exercises” the Yoga system stimulates circulation & balances internal organs, improves flexibility & mental clarity and relieves stress while relaxing the heart. Though the physical body does become lean, flexible, balanced and strengthened via the proper daily practice of Yoga, these are just some of the physical benefits available, not to mention the mental and spiritual benefits.

Enroute to Raja-Yoga, the Royal Path leading to the Spiritual Kingdom, the aspirant begins with Hatha-Yoga, the Sun-Moon process of purifying & balancing the physical body, then on to Ashtanga-Yoga, the eight-body system of harmonizing the dialogue between the Body~Mind~Soul aspects, and then ascending the final steps to Raja-Yoga, becoming fully self-realized and transcendental to the confines of the material-nature.

Moshay commenced studies with Swami Vishnu Devananda, a disciple of the Saint Master Shivananda, an accomplished Medical & Ayurvedic Doctor & Yogi, in 1988, he started teaching Yoga in 1996, and continues to be inspired by Ananda Murti, Srila Prabhupada, Babaji, Neem Karoli Baba, Swami Satyananda, Shri Chinmoy, Bhagavan Das, Dr. Sharma and many others.
