About Us
The Trans Canada Matchcover Club (TCMC) was formed in 1962 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The Club's purpose is to promote the collecting of matches with an accent on Canadiana. The Club |
through its Newsletter, Saddle & Striker, which is published four times a year, provides current and historical information about Canadian match manufacturing, matches, related items |
and collecting. TCMC has helped hundreds of collectors improve their collections for greater enjoyment and value. TCMC welcomes new members. Joining is easy. |
TCMC has hosted 5 RMS Conventions:
London in 1965
Montreal 1972
Hamilton in 1985
Kitchener in 1993
Toronto in 2004
TCMC is based in Southern Ontario. A meeting is held each April at our annual Swapfest gathering.
This year Swapfest was held in Niagara Falls, Ontario, April 20 – 22, 2006. Events will provide further information.
